Pointed leaves, waxing furnished excellent fibre for weaving. Along the stems of flowers with creamy white flowers have been used by Apache as food and - most importantly for our purposes - the roots of the yucca provided many Indians with a SOAP shampoo and laundry natural natural.

Then, remove any loose dirt with a stiff brush or old rag and use a small ax to cut roots into manageable pieces (size of the potato). Now, with a good knife sharpened the peeler, cut-leaved sundew extensions and the skin of the root, taking care to keep newly as clean as possible exposed surfaces.

Once completed, the pieces peeled to knock down into smaller pieces (about the size of the ice cubes) and use a hammer or a mixer to spray these pieces of root into a paste. When the mush has changed color from white to pale yellow, the new shampoo is ready to be used, dried or frozen (Yucca remains well preserved, where one of the two methods).

If you want to sun-dry roots, disseminate materials finely on a clean surface and leave in direct sun light until all moisture is evaporated. (When meat juice is more sticky and sponge - but it feels kind of creaking - it is dry enough to be stored).

Kiln drying, in contrast, only a thin layer of dough on a tray and cook at low temperatures (ranging from 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit) for an hour or two cooking. (Drying time may vary from one batch to another, so check frequently). Finally, but dry yucca, be sure to store the particles in a cool and breezy.

E ' can also freeze a future supply of root of soap, and this can be done at any stage of the preparation of the root. Simply seal the dough in a container sealed and thawed prior to final use or treatment.

Although anthropologists recorded that yucca roots have been used by native Americans for bathing the whole body (and mothers Walapai also wash their babies with the foam of a people young yucca every day for a week after birth)Once I used the root as a material cleaning face and found that my skin is irritated, but I have had no negative effect of shampoo with substance.

When you're ready for the yucca groped hairwash, that your hands (and sink) are free of fat (or other roots not foam), and then run a few centimeters of water in your dock, add at least a handful of dough and shake the water around vigorously. (Could be place - alternately - the pulp and a little ' of the water in a blender for a few seconds and pour into the sparkling performance in the sink.)
Healthy, shiny hair
